PASCAGOULA, MS (WLOX) -
Pascagoula firefighters responded to a fire at Adrian's restaurant on Ingalls Avenue at around 7 a.m. Tuesday.
A passerby saw the fire and reported it to officials. Battalion Chief Michael May said firefighters were at the scene for a little more than two and half hours. The most extensive fire damage happened in the kitchen and the kitchen roof, which is where May said, the fire started.
There was smoke damage throughout the entire restaurant. May said, there was also water damage to the dining area caused by firefighting efforts.
It's estimated $150,000 in property damage and about another $100,000 damage to contents, May said.
