GULFPORT, MS (WLOX) -

Two people are under arrest in connection with a shooting that sent one person to the hospital the day after Christmas.

Investigators said the shooting took place in the 2800 block of 34th Avenue, and was the result of an argument. One person was shot, and treated at an area hospital.

Erica Lee Hayes, 19, turned herself in to police the day after the shooting. Friday, police arrested Marlon Kirt Reed, 21. Both are charged with one count of aggravated assault.

Friday, they were being held at the Harrison County Adult Detention Center in lieu of $100,000 bond.
