Hobby Lobby store robbed at gunpoint

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

Baton Rouge Police are searching for a man they say robbed the Hobby Lobby store on College Drive.  The robbery happened around 8:30 pm Saturday night. 

Police say the suspect walked into the store with a handgun and demanded money.  He then grabbed an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene, leaving in a dark colored, newer model Toyota Corolla.

The suspect is described as a black male between 20-25 years old, brown skin with long braids, wearing a red bandana, black hooded sweatshirt with light blue sleeves, light colored blue jeans and black and white Nike shoes.

Anyone with information on this robbery is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 344-STOP.

Baton Rouge Police Detectives are investigating the armed robbery of Hobby Lobby, 3121 College Dr.  The robbery occurred last night around 8:35pm.  The suspect walked into the business with a handgun demanding money. 

 

The suspect grabbed an undisclosed amount of money from the store and was last seen leaving the scene in a dark colored, newer model Toyota Corolla.

 

The suspect is a B/M, 20 – 25 years old, browned skinned, with long braids, wearing a red bandana, black hooded sweat shirt with light blue sleeves, light colored blue jeans and black/white Nike shoes.

 

Anyone with information on this robbery is urged to contact the Armed Robbery Division at 389-3845 or Crime Stoppers at 344-STOP.
