Your Week in Viral Videos: World still here, still funny

(RNN) – If you're reading this, first take a minute to acknowledge every Mayan contribution except timekeeping.

Then, as quickly as possible, try to take credit for predicting the worldwide explosion of social media before anyone recognizes you are a fraud.

There, doesn't that feel better? No? It will after you're through reading (and watching) this.

BROADWAY BABY

If nothing else works out for this kid, she definitely has a future in street singing, and that's not an insult by any means.

This toddler showed up a much more seasoned vocalist, and surprisingly, she has a pretty good set of pipes.

If you can watch this video less than four times, you're stronger than most.

EMOTIONAL RESPONSE

Winthrop coach Pat Kelsey's postgame plea to President Barack Obama, House Speaker John Boehner and people everywhere in response to the Newtown, CT, tragedy escaped almost no one's notice.

Once during the speech, Kelsey said he would never have another national stage to speak his piece.

Judging by the response to his words, he was dead wrong.

SERIOUSLY, KANSAS CITY?

To say it has been a rough month for the Kansas City Chiefs would be a huge understatement.

But a bird roaming the 50-yard line unfazed during a live game was one of the few impressive things that has happened while the Chiefs were on the field.

Maybe signing this "angry bird" to a contract would improve their team, or at the very least prevent debacles like this from happening.

LOSING GRACEFULLY

There are some rules in life that are unavoidable. For instance, if you are a 5'10" Venezuelan beauty queen, people will forgive you for just about anything.

But when you flub the response to a question this badly, it's hard to earn a reprieve.

Important question: Is this worse than Miss South Carolina? Let's see … nope, not by a mile.

EXTREME ROAD RAGE

Note to self: Avoid driving at all costs when vacationing in Australia.

Expressing road rage by yelling and swearing is one thing, but chasing someone for miles and turning your body into a violent projectile is a whole different kind of crazy.

Full-time Waveland city workers, primarily police officers, who take-home vehicles outside of the city limits could see a change to the city's policy soon. City leaders said the current policy is antiquated and needs to be rewritten into something that would benefit both the officers and the taxpayers.
