MOSS POINT, MS (WLOX) -
A Moss Point man died Friday morning when the car he was driving collided with a garbage truck on Hwy 614, about a mile east of Hwy 613.
The Wastepro garbage disposal truck was stopped and in the process of loading when a Nissan Altima ran into the back of the truck.
The driver of the Altima, Kyle Mcmellon, 22, was pronounced dead at scene. The driver of the disposal truck, Thomas Harrison, 44, of Vancleave, was not injured.
