BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

Federal officials say hundreds of counterfeit cell phone cases being sold at Edgewater Mall are now off the market. U.S. Customs agents removed the merchandise from at least one kiosk at the mall.

WLOX News received several pictures of agents inside the mall, clearing out more than a thousand phone cases being sold under the "Otter Box" brand. A trademark expert working with Customs identified them as fakes.

A spokesman for Immigration and Customs Enforcement told WLOX News the agency regularly seizes counterfeit goods to get them off the market.

No one was arrested Thursday, however officials say all evidence will be turned over to federal prosecutors who will determine if criminal charges will be filed.

We called officials at Edgewater Mall, but a spokesperson said the mall had no comment.
