JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

An Arkansas man has been sentenced for false pretense in Sunflower County. Thirty-five year-old Seth Bradshaw, of Pigot Arkansas, pleaded guilty three counts.

The Attorney General's investigation show that Bradshaw was leasing hunting land he did not own to three separate victims, for $37,000.

Bradshaw was sentenced to five years in jail, with all but five days suspended. He must also pay full restitution of $37,000 to the Mississippi Crime Victim's Compensation Fund and all court costs.

"As a hunter, I found this swindle to be particularly galling," said Attorney General Hood.
