LSU has confirmed punter Brad Wing has been suspended from the team and will not play in the Chick-fil-A Bowl.
The team would not specify what rule was broken.
TigerRag.com reports a source in the athletic department said Wing's suspension is related to a failed drug test. The report also states that multiple sources said the punter will probably end his career with LSU and enter the 2013 NFL Draft.
The Australian redshirt sophomore averaged 44.4 yards per punt last year and 44.8 this year. Freshman Jamie Keehn, another Australian, will likely replace Wing for the bowl game. Keehn kicked three times in the season opener against North Texas when Wing was out averaging 41 yards per punt.
