There was a gas line explosion early Tuesday morning, according to Washington Parish Sheriff Randy Seal. The gas fire is out, but trees in the area are still burning. More >>
OCEAN SPRINGS, MS (WLOX) -
Jackson County Sheriff's Department arrested 30-year-old Sheena Myles-Adams for embezzlement Monday.
Sheriff Mike Byrd said the Biloxi woman is accused of stealing $6,101 from her employer, Elite Coastal.
Byrd said Adams worked as an accountant assistant at Elite Coastal since July 2012.
After her arrest she was transported to Jackson County Adult Detention Center pending an initial appearance in Jackson County Court.
If convicted she faces up to 10 years in prison and up to a $10,000 fine.
