East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Detectives are looking for a black female that is accused of using counterfeit money to purchase gift cards from a Rite Aid on Siegen Lane on December 8, 2012 around 4:50 p.m.
According to reports the woman purchased two Green Dot Money Packs with 11 counterfeit $50 bills, totaling $550, at the pharmacy check out. The suspect purchased a card for $400 and 1 card for $100. She received $40.10 in change from the cashier.
The suspect is described as black female, approximately 5'7, 160 pounds, with a tattoo on her upper arm that appears to be three lines of words in black ink. She was last seen wearing a purple shirt, white shorts and sandals.
Anyone with information concerning this incident or the identity of the suspect is asked to contact the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office at 225-389-5000.
