Report: Discovery Channel yet to decide when "Sons of Guns" will return

BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

The school shooting in Connecticut could impact the future of a popular reality show based in Baton Rouge.

According to a New York Times report, the Discovery Channel is deciding when the show, "Sons of Guns" will return.

A representative said it is not scheduled to air again anytime soon.

The network would not say if it plans to cancel the show.

Discovery has already axed the show "American Guns," which also featured weapons.

Discovery said that show's ratings were falling off, but "Sons of Guns" remains is still has a solid following.
