BILOXI, MS (WLOX) -

A man and woman suspected of burglaries in several coast cities were arrested Friday when they allegedly tried to sell stolen property at a Biloxi pawn shop.

Daniel Walter Bryant, 29, of Alabama and Samantha Gale Woods, 23, of Georgia are charged with two counts of residential burglary. They face the same charges in D'Iberville, as well as an additional count of aggravated assault of a homeowner for Bryant.

When Biloxi Police arrived at the pawn shop, officers said they found a substantial amount of stolen property. They also discovered Bryant was wanted for burglary out of Columbus, Georgia.

Investigators now believe Bryant and Woods had committed burglaries in Biloxi, Gulfport, and D'Iberville over the last several days. Detectives from each of those agencies are assisting in the investigation. Other law enforcement agencies, including the Auburn, AL Police Department and the Columbus, GA Police Department are also providing information to investigators, which may lead to additional charges.
