A 19-year-old is behind bars Thursday in connection with several auto burglaries at the 7000 block of Larkin Place West in Biloxi, according to Biloxi police investigator Steve Schlicht.

Several reports of auto burglaries came into police Thursday morning resulting in the arrest of Justin Badger of Biloxi.

Schlicht said Badger, was found passed out on the ground holding a Dell laptop and car stereo. Those two items were confirmed stolen by the victim.

Badger, who was highly intoxicated, was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The items he had on him were confiscated.

When he was released from the hospital, police found him at a friend's house. He was transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center.

Officials are investigating the burglaries. Schlicht said more suspects could be involved, meaning more arrests.

Bond was set at $200,000 by Judge Fountain pending an initial appearance and investigation.

This investigation is ongoing and anyone with more information regarding this incident or any other criminal activity should contact the Biloxi Police Department at 392-0641, the Criminal Investigations Division at 435-6112, Crime Stoppers 1-877-787-5898, text CSTIP to 274637 (CRIMES) or give a tip online at mscoastcrimestoppers.com.
