RIDGELAND, MS (Mississippi News Now) -
Ridgeland Police have made an arrest in the murder and robbery at Party City in late October.
Investigators say it was an inside job.
Lt. John Neal says police have arrested and charged 22-year-old Undra Delarence Ward with capital murder.
Investigators say Ward was a Party City employee. He was arrested at his Ridgeland home around 7:30 Sunday morning.
Police are now searching for an accomplice, 21-year-old Joshua Leon Archie of Jackson.
Warrants have been issued for Archie's arrest on capital murder and armed robbery charges.
"We have talked to Joshua by telephone this morning. Somebody reached out to him and told him that we were looking for him which by him not cooperating with us now, in our opinion now makes him a fugitive from justice. Joshua is believed to be armed and dangerous," said Ridgeland Police Lt. John Neal.
Party City manager 68-year-old Robert Adams answered the back door of the business at closing time on October 26th. He was met by an armed man dressed in dark clothing who forced himself inside and fatally shot Adams then proceeded to rob the business.
Anyone with information on the location of Joshua Archie is asked to contact the Ridgeland Police Department.
