It's been called the kickoff to the holiday season in Bay St. Louis. The 18th Annual Holiday Tree Gala will feature dozens of creative, theme based trees.
More than 60 beautifully decorated holiday trees were created by local businesses, community groups and schools. The Christmas trees will be judged and awarded in a number of different categories.
"We have the Kiwanis Club Represented, we have the Lions Club, we have other businesses that are anything from Florist to Real Estate agencies to artist and art organizations," said Hancock County Library System Community Outreach Coordinator Nel Ducomb.
The festive afternoon is slated for December 2nd from 1pm-4pm. It will include Santa Clause and his right hand man "Elfie the Elf." Elfie serves as the mailman for Santa, he delivers kids wishes straight to the jolly man himself and thanks to the USPS of Bay St. Louis, everyone is guaranteed a reply.
The gala will be held at the Bay St. Louis-Hancock County Library and will be open to the public.
