Softball Headed To Hancock County

Hancock County leaders are preparing for the return of the Dixie Angels World Series.

Organizers say the games will bring 12 youth girls softball teams to town from 11 states. The world series is expected to pump an estimated million plus dollars into Hancock County's economy.

City leaders say local hotels, restaurants and retail shop owners will come out the big winners.

The games will be played at the Bay St. Louis Sports complex July 30th through August 5th. Anyone who can volunteer time to help is asked to call Bay St. Louis City Hall at 467-9092
