Overnight fire destroys Diamondhead triplex unit

DIAMONDHEAD, MS (WLOX) -

WLOX News has learned of an overnight fire at a Diamondhead triplex. Diamondhead fire officials tell us the blaze at 1283 Kapalama Place started around 1 a.m. Thursday.

Officials say two of the three units were occupied, but no one was injured. They also tell WLOX News one of the units is a complete loss. A second sustained smoke and water damage.

No word yet on what may have caused the blaze. An investigation is ongoing. Join us on Good Morning Mississippi for updates.
