SMITH COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -

Dr. Mike Daniels with Stand Strong for Tyler said the group is fighting back after the alcohol propositions passed on Tuesday.

All four propositions in the City of Tyler and Smith County Precinct 2 passed, which opened the doors for beer and wine sales.

In Smith County Precinct 2, Proposition 1 passed 17,138 to 6,772. Proposition 2 passed 16,695 to 8,850. Tyler voters also voted overwhelmingly in support of the ballot issues. Proposition 1 passed 22,767 to 8,450 while Prop 2 passed 21,225 to 10,670.

Dr. Daniels, who is also the pastor of Landmark Baptist Church in Tyler, said Stand Strong for Tyler contested the election results on Friday.

Dr. Daniels called the election "fraudulent" after his group uncovered "hundreds of petitions with no date or seal."
