Authorities have located a missing East Texas boy after he was reported missing Friday evening.

Officials say 7-year-old Nadariion Montrell Wayne Williams was last seen around 6 p.m. He was reported missing around 9 p.m. Friday near a residence in the 600 block of West Vance Street in Tyler. A short time later, authorities located Nadariion at the John Tyler vs Nacogdoches football game in Lufkin with his grandfather.

"After further investigation, we spoke with some of the relatives and determined that he was with his grandfather at a football game," said Sergeant Wendell Gardner with the Tyler Police Department. "There was some miscommunication among the family, but the child is with his grandfather and is safe."

Authorities say they deployed several units to the family's neighborhood to search for the boy before determining he was with his grandfather.

According to Sgt. Gardner with the Tyler Police Department, Nadariion is on his way home.
