BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - A Biloxi church has set up a fund to help the family of Blake Terrell. You'll remember, Terrell was the 8-year-old D'Iberville student who was killed in a tragic accident on Hwy. 90 during Cruisin' the Coast.
Rev. Scott Nichols, Executive Pastor of Pentecostals of the Gulf Coast, said monetary donations can be dropped off at the church in Biloxi, or mailed to:
Pentecostals of the Gulf Coast
1907 Popp's Ferry Road
Biloxi, MS 39532
Checks or money orders should be made out to "PGC fbo Blake Terrell Family."
Donations are also being accepted at all Charter Bank branches in Biloxi, Gulfport, Ocean Springs and Pascagoula.
Terrell was a first grader at D'Iberville Elementary School. His family was enjoying Cruisin' the Coast along Hwy 90 near Rodenberg Avenue the night of the accident. The 8-year-old was hit by a vehicle as he tried to cross Hwy 90. The driver of that vehicle has not been charged with any wrongdoing.
