Extrication not needed in Harrison County wreck

HARRISON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) -

When the initial call went out about an accident on Highway 67, rescue teams were told they'd be extricating two people from their damaged vehicles.  Once rescue personnel arrived on the scene, they realized they could get to the victims without cutting through their cars.

That accident was around 7:45 Thursday morning on Highway 67 near Big John Road. 

WLOX News has been told by deputies the two people injuries in the wreck were taken to the hospital.  

The accident is near St. Patrick High School.  If you can avoid that area for the next hour or so, you're asked to do so.
