DELISLE, MS (WLOX) -

A Delisle man woke just in time after the home he was in caught fire shortly after midnight Saturday.

Harrison County fire officials are trying to figure out what caused the fire that destroyed the home.

Fire Marshall Pat Sullivan said the fire happened at the 7000 block of Oak Road in Delisle. It took 15 men and five units to control the blaze.

Sullivan said the man was able to escape through a bedroom window. No injuries were reported. He said others lived at the home; luckily they were not there at the time of the fire.
