(RNN) – Is the upcoming election putting you in the mood for an out the U.S. getaway? One airline company is giving away free trips to voters who need a break if their candidate doesn't win.

"We've all heard it said before: if my candidate does not win, I'm leaving the country," Marty St. George, senior vice president marketing and commercial strategy for JetBlue, said in a news release.

"Fun is one of our five founding values, and in this spirit we decided to give people a chance to recover from the political noise and follow through on their claim to skip town if their candidate comes up short. And with service to more than 20 international destinations JetBlue is the perfect fix. Most importantly, we want to highlight the freedom we have as Americans to exercise our right to vote and encourage everyone to do their part on Nov. 6. Live free or Fly!"

With Wednesday being the first presidential debate between President Barack Obama and Republican nominee Mitt Romney, the airline timed this announcement perfectly.

It's offering voters the chance for a free roundtrip flight to one of 21 international destinations.

If you go to jetblue.com/electionprotection, you can choose your candidate (the donkey or the elephant), and destination of choice.

JetBlue is offering 1,006 certificates – that's 2012 seats, get it? - to those who vote for the losing candidate.

The free flight would not include taxes, fees or a hotel.
