COLUMBIA, SC (WIS) -

Before the USC Gamecocks host Georgia next Saturday at Williams-Brice Stadium, the university hosts ESPN College Gameday's national television broadcast.

The university announced Saturday the three-hour national broadcast will be done from the USC Horseshoe on Saturday morning. The college football preview show airs starting at 9 a.m. on ESPNU, and from 10 a.m. until noon, the show airs on ESPN.

The last time USC hosted ESPN's College Gameday, the Gamecocks upset top-ranked Alabama in 2010.

The undefeated Gamecocks host Georgia, who also is undefeated Saturday night at Williams-Brice Stadium.  Both teams have the same record of 5-0 overall and 3-0 in the SEC.  Kickoff is at 7 p.m. and the game will be televised nationally on ESPN.

"The Horseshoe is one of the best sites we've ever had for College GameDay," said Lee Fitting, College GameDay Senior Coordinating Producer. "The picturesque collegiate backdrop creates the perfect setting for the show. Given the fact that a highly-ranked Georgia team is coming to town will only add to the excitement of Saturday morning."

South Carolina's own Darius Rucker will be the guest picker on the show, according to his Twitter account. "Just got the invite to be guest picker on College Gameday. So excited. Love that show. Go Cocks," wrote Rucker.

The USC Athletics department also announced ESPNU's "Road Trip" show will be in Columbia this coming week and will and highlight the USC campus.

This will be the sixth time that ESPN's College GameDay has visited the South Carolina campus.
