Gulfport coach suffers heart attack after Admirals game

GULFPORT, MS (WLOX) -

WLOX News is following developing news from Gulfport High School.  Head football coach and athletic director Mike Justice reportedly suffered a heart attack overnight.

What we've been told is Coach Justice had three stents put into his heart.  He's recovering in the intensive care unit at Memorial Hospital.

School administrators say Justice told friends he wasn't feeling well during the game.  He went to the hospital in the wee hours of Saturday morning.

Justice is in his fourth year at the helm of the Gulfport Admirals football team.  It's his 33rd year in coaching.  His son Ben is the team's linebackers coach.

We'll keep you updated on Coach Justice's condition.
