POST, TX (KCBD) - The owner of a Texas donut shop is in jail Thursday after chasing a middle school student all the way to the schoolhouse door and hitting him with a broom.

Authorities in Garza County, Texas say some students were visiting the shop on Wednesday morning when the shop owner, Sueng Hoon Lee, accused one boy of shoplifting.

The group left and Lee called the accused boy back. When the boy returned to the store, Lee accused him again and grabbed a broom. The boy then left the store, but Lee followed him all the way to the door of the school, hitting him with the broom.

Two crossing guards saw what was happening and intervened. Police arrived and arrested Lee.

The child has superficial cuts and bruises from the incident. Lee is in the Garza County Jail charged with injury to a child.
