OCEAN SPRINGS, MS (WLOX) -

Two women are accused of a robbery in St. Martin Saturday, according to the Jackson County Sheriff's Department.

Jackson County Sheriff Mike Byrd said the victim alleged she was dragged into a home at Masterson Street in St. Martin and beaten. She also told deputies the suspects took her cell phone, $87 and a gold chain.

Byrd said Sandra Franklin, 45, and Robin Danielle, 18, both of Masterson Street were arrested shortly after the robbery on Theriot Street. Deputies were able to find the victim's cell phone.

Both women are being held at the Jackson County Adult Detention Center pending an initial appearance in county court.

If convicted of robbery, Ross and Franklin could face up to $10,000 in fines and 15 years in the state penitentiary.
