SOUTH MISSISSIPPI (WLOX) - Voters in George County and Hancock County will go to the polls Tuesday to decide on school bond issues.
If passed, the $18 million school bond issue in George County would fund improvements at several schools, and construction of a performing arts center at George County High School.
In Hancock County, school leaders promise the proposed $16 million bond issue will not raise taxes. If passed, the money will be used to fund upgrades at all Hancock County campuses.
The polls open Tuesday at 7am and close at 7pm.
