Posted: Updated:
GULFPORT, MS (WLOX) -

All three coastal counties will be under a curfew Tuesday night.

In Hancock County, the curfew begins at 9pm and goes until 6am. That nighttime curfew will be in effect until further notice.

Jackson County's curfew 10pm to 7am Tuesday night and Wednesday night.

Harrison County's curfew is from 7pm to 7am.

According to Harrison County Sheriff Brisolara, "I've been in touch with each of the chiefs of police in Harrison County and we are in agreement that for the safety and security of our citizens, everyone should be off the road tonight. The storm will be at its peak during those hours and the roads will be terribly dangerous. Please stay indoors."

Law enforcement officers warn they will be enforcing these curfews.
