We are watching Isaac and everyone needs to pay attention to the weather and emergency information that WLOX is broadcasting. If you are away from the TV, remember you can get the information you need on your mobile phone through the WLOX app or computer through our web site.
There are still so many uncertainties about Isaac that the information concerning the storm is constantly changing. As long as the Mississippi Gulf Coast is under a Hurricane warning we will broadcast the latest information at the top of each hour and will increase that coverage as Isaac gets closer to our area.
We have been told that heavy rains and flooding in low lying areas could be an issue. If you live in a low lying area, then you should plan to ride the storm out in a safer area.
A lot of lessons were learned during Hurricane Katrina seven years ago. Let's make sure we listen to the advice of the emergency folks and are as prepared as we can for Isaac. When Isaac has passed we want to report there were no injuries or deaths from this storm.
That's our opinion, we would like to hear yours. Email your thoughts to email@example.com, or post your comments below.
