Keeping an eye on Isaac

It's WLOX News Director Brad Kessie. I'm going to use my end of the week newsletter as a reminder. Tropical Storm Isaac is out there. And it's forecast to get into the Gulf of Mexico by the end of the weekend.

The best way to track the storm is to be connected to WLOX. Mike Reader, Carrie Duncan, Tommy Richards and Ryan Beesley will be here 24 hours a day, monitoring the path of the storm.

If you're not by your TV, then be sure you've downloaded our free WLOX 24/7 Weather and News apps to your smartphone. Those apps will connect you to instant information about Isaac.

If the storm heads our way, do us a favor, become our eyes and our ears. Record the storm. Take pictures of what you're seeing. And email those images to

If you need a break from storm coverage, we have it for you on Saturday night. Flip over to WLOX CBS at 6:30, and watch Destination: Dome. A.J. Giardina and Dave Schroeder preview the New Orleans Saints in 2012. As soon as that special ends, CBS Sports broadcasts the Saints and the Texans pre-season game from the Mercedes Benz Superdome. It's a great night of football, only on WLOX CBS.

Have a great weekend. I'll write you again on Monday.
