Tonight on 9News at 5… It is day four of drilling at the observation well for the giant South Louisiana sink hole in Assumption Parish. Today, Texas Brine, the company believed to be responsible for the sink hole, brought members of the news media to examine what they hope will be a good piece of evidence as to what exactly happened 18 days ago, when the sink hole formed. See that story tonight on 9News at 5.


Tonight on 9News at 6…a man in Livingston Parish has become the latest person to contract a deadly form of West Nile Virus. He says it all started with an ear ache. The man wasn't diagnosed with West Nile at first, and now he says he will not leave home without a can of mosquito repellant. Hear his story tonight on 9News at 6.
