With the game tied 5-5 in the inning, Damien Admire advanced to second on his hit and Jacob Jacome raced home with the deciding run ending the dreams of playing on national television Tuesday night against Louisiana.
Petroglyph, New Mexico advances to the semifinals Tuesday night at 7 as the second place team in the Pool A bracket while Lake Charles, Louisiana plays Tuesday afternoon at 3.
D'Iberville opened the region tournament with an 11-8 win over Arkansas. They faced Louisiana on Saturday and the young men from Lake Charles popped D'Iberville 14-0.
D'Iberville needed a win Sunday night but it wasn't to be.
