Former Ocean Springs teacher pleads guilty to sexual battery of student

OCEAN SPRINGS, MS (WLOX) -

A former Ocean Springs teacher could spend as many as 90 years in prison for having a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old girl.

Prosecutors say Grady Brown pleaded guilty on Friday to three counts of sexual battery.

The victim was a seventh grader at Ocean Springs Middle School where Brown worked as a math teacher and wrestling coach.

Prosecutors say Brown is scheduled to be sentenced on September 5, 2012.

The school district fired Brown after his arrest.
