Pass Christian Police investigate overnight murder

PASS CHRISTIAN, MS (WLOX) -

One woman is dead and one person is behind bars after an overnight murder in Pass Christian according to police.

Harrison County Coroner Gary Hargrove identified the victim as 33-year-old Shabree Page. Hargrove said police received a call just before 3am Saturday morning.

Pass Christian Police Chief John Dubuisson said the body was found at 646 North Street.

A suspect was taken into custody by Gulfport Police according to Chief Alan Weatherford.

An autopsy is underway right now and WLOX News will have more on this developing story as it becomes available.
