Illegal Slot Machines Land Pascagoula Pair In Jail

A Pascagoula man and woman are under arrest charged with having illegal gambling paraphernalia.

Casey Clark and Desirae Williams of Pascagoula were arrested Tuesday at a home on Ingalls Avenue. Police say the pair were selling slot machines without a license.

The gaming commission searched the home at about 10:30 Tuesday morning, and arrested the pair less than two hours later.

The commission's Director of Enforcement says the bust comes at the end of a long investigation.

Williams and Clark face a total of 10 gaming control violations. They could face up to six years in prison and a $5,000 fine.

They are being held in state custody at the Jackson County Adult Detention Center.
