Hundreds Turn Out For Anti-Drug Rally

Tuesday was a school night, but that didn't stop many parents from letting their kids go to a rally in Long Beach.

Hundreds of students, grades six through 12 rocked out at Gulf Coast Worship Center Tuesday night. A Christian rock band from Atlanta provided entertainment at the anti-drug rally.

The event, called Impact Rally, is the first of its kind held by the church, and its organizers say they expect it to become an annual event with a simple message.

"God's got an arm longer than we can run. We just show them that God loves them and He can change their life more than any person or anything can," said Carl Nichols, youth pastor of the church.
