BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) -

The man who has confessed several times to walking into the office of a construction company and opening fire, killing two workers and injuring a third, was back in court Wednesday morning.

Richard Matthews appeared before Judge Tony Marabella because of the status of his attorney, Nelvil Hollingsworth.

Hollingsworth was arrested Feb. 25 on introduction of contraband into a penal institution.

The judge said Matthews will be able to move forward with the same lawyers.

Matthews is accused of killing Dianna Tullier and Cheryl Boykin at Grady Crawford Construction in East Baton Rouge Parish in 2009.

On several different occasions, he was recorded on camera telling representatives of the media he actually meant to kill his former boss.
