PASCAGOULA, MS (WLOX) -

Pascagoula firefighters are rallying together to help one of their own who's suffering a great loss.

Friday, firefighter Rocky Smith's mother, father, and brother were all found murdered in their Jefferson Davis County home. His fellow firefighters say when they heard this tragic news, they came together and to show support and lend a helping hand.

"We are very sadden and our hearts go out to Rocky and his family," Pascagoula Firefighter Will Hunter said. "We sent a crew of 20 guys to the funeral today. Some of the guys are going to stay after the funeral and cleanup the house... We are just doing everything to help him get over this."

A Rocky Smith Family Benefit Account fund has been set up at all Hancock Bank branches, if you'd like to make a donation.
