OCEAN SPRINGS, MS (WLOX) - Jackson County Sheriff's Deputies arrested 48-year-old Nathan Louis Lee and 32-year-old Stacey Jeannetta Kelly Tuesday after a teen reported being sexually assaulted, officials said.
Authorities said the arrests were the result of a follow-up investigation which was conducted by the Jackson County Sheriff's Department's Criminal Investigations Division. During the investigation the teen revealed that she was touched and sexually assaulted several times.
The Jackson County Sheriff's Department charged Lee with one count of sexual battery on a child and one count of molestation, touching a child for lustful purposes. Kelly was charged with felony contributing to delinquency and neglect of a child.
In January, Lee was arrested for domestic violence, aggravated assault and Kelly was arrested for misdemeanor child neglect.
Lee and Kelly were taken into custody without incident and taken to the Jackson County Adult Detention Center. Both are awaiting an initial appearance in court.
If convicted for touching a child for lustful purposes, Lee faces a minimum of two years and a maximum of fifteen years, officials said. The sentence of imprisonment for sexual battery, first offense is a minimum of 20 years and a maximum of life.
