Bay St. Louis Mardi Pardi moved to Sunday

BAY ST. LOUIS, MS (WLOX) -

The Mardi Pardi Eco Adventure 5K Run and Triathlon has been changed to Sun., Feb. 19. The race will start at 9 a.m. at the Washington St. Pier on S. Beach Blvd. in Bay St. Louis.

Day-of-race registration will begin at 8 a.m. All other race-related details, including kayak rentals for the triathlon, will apply to the new date.

The event was previously scheduled for Sat. Feb. 18.

Pre-registration for the race and party, featuring Mikey B3 followed by Star and Micey, will still take place on Fri., Feb. 17, from 6-8 p.m., at the Mockingbird Cafe on Second St. in Bay St. Louis.

The "after pardi" music fest will still take place from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m. on Sat. Feb. 18. The event, featuring Cornell Williams and Pocket Time, John Gros, Zena Moses , Jeremy Mojo Phipps and Lagniappe, has been moved indoors to the historic 100 Men Hall at 303 Union St. in Bay St. Louis and is free and open to the public.

Legendary New Orleans music icon Walter "Wolfman" Washington will still play the 100 Men Hall on Sat., Feb. 18, at 8 p.m. Tickets are $18 for the general public and $10 for race participants until the show is sold out.

The Shopathlon will take place on both Sat. and Sun., Feb 18-19, in Old Town, Bay St. Louis.
