TEXARKANA, AR (WLOX) - A Mississippi prisoner who escaped Friday as he left his father's wake in Picayune has been spotted near the Texas/Arkansas state line. Texarkana, Arkansas Police believe Johnny Hall robbed the Stateline Exxon station around midnight Saturday night.

A worker at the station said a white man came in with a gun, demanding cash from the register. After detectives viewed the surveillance video, they realized their robbery suspect matched the description of an escapee from Mississippi.

The 30-year-old Hall is 6'3" tall and 175 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He has multiple tattoos on his neck and face.

Hall was convicted of theft, and is currently serving a 30 year sentence.

Authorities stress that Hall should be considered extremely dangerous, and said he's made threatening statements that he will not return to prison.
