D'Iberville Police: War of words led to coach's arrest

D'IBERVILLE, MS (WLOX) -

D'Iberville Police are releasing more details about the events leading up to a St. Martin coach's arrest Friday night.

Investigators tell WLOX News Assistant Soccer Coach Robert Kilonsky got into a verbal altercation with school personnel during Friday's game at D'Iberville High School. They said when an officer asked to see his identification, Kilonsky was belligerent and refused. Referees then asked him to leave, but he refused.

Kilonsky was charged with disorderly conduct, and has since been released. The school placed him on paid administrative leave, pending an investigation of their own.
