Two men arrested in Lizana Elementary burglary caper

HARRISON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - Two Saucier men have been linked to a burglary at Lizana Elementary School.  John Michael Pitts and Nathaniel Rozentall Goldsmith allegedly vandalized several classrooms.

According to Harrison County sheriff's investigators, security video from the school helped them identify the two people who broke into the school.  On Thursday night, investigators found both suspects at Goldsmith's home.  They said they also found property stolen from the school.

Earlier this week, the suspects reportedly entered Lizana Elementary, damaged several TVs and computers, and stole school equipment.  The damage estimate was in the thousands of dollars.

Pitts is 19-years-old.  Goldsmith is 21-years-old.  They both were arrested and given $50,000 bonds.
