VANCLEAVE, MS (WLOX) - The third meth suspect is in custody, according to Jackson County Sheriff Mike Byrd.
Christopher Carl "CC" Brown was on the run from the law after Jackson County Narcotics agents uncovered a reported meth lab in Vancleave on Saturday.
Authorities say Brown's Grandmother called in with his whereabouts. Authorities picked up Brown on Highpoint Road in Vancleave on Tuesday evening.
Brown will be charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, fleeing arrest and aggravated assault with a vehicle which stems from a December 8, 2011, incident.
According to the Jackson County Sheriff's Department, authorities received information about Christopher Carl "CC" Brown, 29, allegedly cooking methamphetamine in a trailer owned by Moss Point Fire Fighter, Ira Timmy "Timbo" Moore, 30.
When agents arrived at the trailer located at 7213 Plantation Road in Vancleave, they reportedly found Moore in the front yard.
Officials reported smelling a chemical consistent with a meth lab on the property. Agents said they found 21-year-old Jamie Brooke Potts inside the trailer and Brown's clothing and his cell phone. However, they said they were unable to find Brown.
A meth lab and other precursor chemicals were reportedly found in the trailer and on the back porch. Officials also found exposed lithium, which is highly explosive if it comes in contact with moisture.
Moore and Potts were arrested at the trailer.
Brown was out on bond and awaiting trial for domestic violence and charges of manufacturing of a controlled substance and generation of hazardous waste. Officials will ask a judge to revoke Brown's bond from the previous arrest and hold him without bond.
Potts was also out on bond for conspiracy to manufacture a controlled substance and has an outstanding burglary charge.
Both Potts and Moore were transported to the Jackson County Adult Detention Center.
