GULFPORT, MS (WLOX) -
Port City Cafe in downtown Gulfport was decked out in LSU gear Monday, as die hard fans prepared for the big BCS Championship match up between the LSU Tigers and Alabama Crimson Tide.
LSU fan Walt Muller says although he was born and raised on the Gulf Coast, he graduated from LSU and continues to support the university.
While Port City Cafe seemed pretty one sided about the big match up, just a few miles down, Skeeters was over run with a mixed crowd of Tigers and Elephants.
Ricky Dombrowski, owner of the popular sports bar, says although he cheered for the Tigers last year, this year it was all about the Crimson Tide.
While some made their clear choice on who they wanted to take the win, others were simply enjoying the success of the SEC.
When WLOX News asked fans who they thought would come out on top, majority predicted the Alabama Crimson Tide.
