Gulfport Police need your help tracking down an armed robber who appears to be targeting Waffle House restaurants in the city. Investigators say two different restaurants have been robbed in the last three days.
The first happened around 1am Saturday, December 10 at the Waffle House on Highway 49 near Airport Road. Witnesses told police a man came into the restaurant with a handgun and demanded money. He then fled on foot.
Two days later, on Monday morning, the Waffle House on Highway 90 near Courthouse Road was robbed at 5:30am by a man with a handgun. In both cases, the robber was described as a black man in his 20s, about 170 pounds and between 5'8" and 5'11" tall.
