Local pianist, Bob Moody, tickles the ivory to perfection. The music adds an ambiance to Pier 4 that makes Restaurant Manager James Sutherlin very proud.
"He plays everything from classical to a little bit more contemporary. His 'Phantom of the Opera' is probably his most popular song that he has, and he plays it several times a night."
Moody's music entertains the guests as they await their scrumptous meal.
"It's one of the premier dining places on the coast. If you like seafood, we always have the freshest seafood available, and we use only prime steaks," boasts Executive Chef John Levy.
Pier 4 is the fine dining restaurant overlooking the Gulf at Casino Magic in Biloxi.
"We can be very creative with what we do. We have a set menu, but we do a number of specials every night. It gives us the opportunity to actually to show off," Levy says.
The most popular dish is the Filet Michelle, one of Pier 4's signature items. Levy says another popular menu item combines the best of what the restaurant has to offer.
"The Surf and Turf is very popular. It's a filet with either a 14 or a 30 oz Lobster tail. The Snapper Clayburn is another big seller."
After indulging in your entree, leave room for dessert, bananas foster style. The bananas foster is made right at your table and is divine.
James brags, "The food will sell you, but the service will take you over the top."
After your romantic dining experience at Pier 4, all of the ladies receive a long stem red rose.
