A convicted murderer and Parchman prison escapee is back in custody this morning. 54 year old, Larry Hentz, and his wife Elizabeth were arrested last night while trying to check into a hotel room in San Diego, California. Corrections officials say the hotel clerk recognized the two from a wanted poster, then called police. Larry Hentz was serving life for a variety of crimes, including murder. Authorities say he will now be charged with escape. Hentz's wife, Elizabeth, now faces charges of aiding and abetting an escaped felon. Corrections officials should know today whether the Hentz's will waive extradition. If they do, they could be back in Mississippi by Saturday.
