OCEAN SPRINGS, MS (WLOX) - An Ocean Springs man accused of assaulting his wife early Sunday morning allegedly pointed a gun at the responding deputy. That means, if convicted, he could face five years behind bars instead of just six months.
Gerald Alexander Good's wife called 911 around 4:30am saying she had been attacked by her husband. When Sheriff's deputies arrived, they said Good pointed a gun at the deputy. He was taken into custody without any injury to the officers.
Good's wife was treated for her injuries at a local hospital.
The 37-year-old is being held at the Jackson County Adult Detention Center.
